Sometimes, the best ideas start at 30,000 feet. The vision for our current R&D initiative was born during a 2.5-hour flight from Iowa to Southwest Florida. A chance conversation with a fellow passenger—who happens to play a pivotal role at a premier manufacturer—turned a simple flight into an exhilarating, fast-paced dive into the future of protective coatings. That brief, high-energy connection sparked a partnership that now fuels our field-testing and data-validation lifecycle.

Built on Discipline, Driven by Curiosity

My career was forged in the U.S. Air Force, where I served as a Crew Chief on KC-135 air refuelers and in the Maintenance Operations Center. The military taught me that there is no such thing as a system that cannot be understood. I learned to dissect complex, unfamiliar technology, troubleshoot under pressure, and hunt down solutions when others saw only obstacles.

Life as a military spouse further sharpened this edge, requiring me to rapidly adapt and excel in new industries, time and time again. I learned to thrive in the "sink or swim" moments, mastering complex workflows without a playbook and fast-tracking my way into senior analytical roles.
